Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OronFi website, user interfaces, or underlying smart contract protocols operating on Robinhood Chain Mainnet, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease accessing or using the protocol.

2. Non-Custodial Decentralized Protocol

OronFi is a non-custodial, autonomous financial software protocol running on public blockchain infrastructure. OronFi does not hold, take custody of, or control user funds, cryptographic tokens, or tokenized stock collateral at any time. All transactions, collateral deposits, borrows, and liquidations are executed programmatically directly by user wallet interactions with autonomous smart contracts.

3. Eligibility & Regional Restrictions (US & UK Exclusions)

To access or use the Services, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least eighteen (18) years old and have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms; (b) your access to and use of the Services is not prohibited by applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction; (c) you are NOT a resident, citizen, or entity located in the United States of America (US) or United Kingdom (UK); and (d) you are not a Prohibited Person.

For purposes of these Terms, a "Prohibited Person"means any individual or entity that is (a) the subject of sanctions administered by any governmental authority (including the U.S. Treasury Department's OFAC list, the U.K., or E.U. consolidated lists), (b) located, resident, or organized in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or (c) owned or controlled by such persons.

Prohibition on Masking Location: You may NOT use a Virtual Private Network (VPN), proxy, TOR, or other identity-masking tool to obscure your location, IP address, or identity for the purpose of circumventing geographic or eligibility restrictions.

4. User Acknowledgments and Covenants

By accessing or using the Services, you explicitly confirm and covenant that:

1. You will use the Services solely for lawful testing, experimentation, evaluation, and non-custodial development purposes.
2. You will not engage in any Prohibited Use and will comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, sanctions, and export control laws.
3. Your use is subject to all technical documentation and limitations provided by Robinhood Chain and OronFi, and you will not attempt to bypass or circumvent technical limitations.
4. You will not misrepresent, obscure, or mask your identity when using the Services, will avoid conflicts of interest, and will not intentionally or negligently cause reputational harm.
5. You understand and acknowledge that public blockchain activity—including wallet addresses, transactions, smart contract executions, and state modifications—is publicly visible, and you do not expect privacy or confidentiality with respect to such on-chain activity.
6. You will perform only those transactions and interactions that are lawful in your governing jurisdiction.
7. You have obtained and reviewed sufficient technical information regarding the Services to make an informed decision to interact with the software.
8. You bear sole legal and financial responsibility for all activities conducted through or in connection with your wallet access, including transaction authorization, parameter selection, and disclosures.
9. You have full legal authority to access and use the Services and to enter into these Terms.

5. Stock Logos & Third-Party Trademark Disclaimer

All corporate stock names, ticker symbols, company logos, and trademarks (including but not limited to NVDA / NVIDIA, AAPL / Apple, TSLA / Tesla, GOOGL / Alphabet, GME / GameStop, SPCX / SpaceX) referenced across the OronFi software interface, landing pages, and documentation are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective corporate owners.

Display of these stock ticker symbols and logos is for informational, educational, software demonstration, and nominative reference purposes only. OronFi is an independent software protocol and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with any of these corporate stock issuers.

6. Collateral, Borrowing & Liquidation Risks

Lending and borrowing against tokenized equity assets involves inherent financial and market risks, including extreme price volatility, oracle delay, and automated liquidation. If your position's Collateral Factor drops below the required threshold, the smart contracts will automatically execute liquidations without prior warning or manual intervention. You bear 100% of the risk of financial loss resulting from market fluctuations or liquidations.

7. No Warranties & Disclaimer of Liability

THE ORONFI INTERFACE AND PROTOCOL ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ORONFI AND ITS DEVELOPERS DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROTOCOL, SMART CONTRACT BUGS, OR NETWORK DISRUPTIONS.

8. Modifications to Terms

OronFi reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to the web interface. Continued use of the protocol following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
